Mission & Values

MY MISSION

I am on a passionate journey to cultivate a community that thrives on inclusivity and empowerment within the natural health, wellness, and creative realms. Dedicated to the elevation of BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, and Women-owned businesses and entrepreneurs,

I extend a virtual hand of essential support for those working to help heal the world one individual at a time. Whether it's somatic work, hormonal health, creating art, or spreading awareness and giving love.

EvolvingVA is not just a service; it's a commitment to fostering growth, embracing diversity, and making a positive impact. Together, let's create, learn, and evolve on this enchanting journey toward collective well-being and success.

TRANSPARENCY

I believe in the power of honesty and vulnerability. Transparency is my guiding light, fostering open communication about prices, services, and decisions. I embrace authenticity by sharing my journey, and being open about who I am because building trust starts with being real.

ACCESSIBILITY

Accessibility is at my core, shaped by my experiences as an Indigenous, Neurodiverse Woman. I strive to make things approachable by embracing equity with a sliding pay scale, diverse collaborations, and a welcoming brand voice. This is to embody my commitment to inclusivity and authenticity.

HUMANITY

In a world often driven by deadlines, I never forget we're humans, not a robots. Compassion, respect, mistakes, and playfulness inspire me. My approach is personal, avoiding unnecessary jargon, fostering understanding, and encouraging connections on a deeper level. We're in this together!

MY VALUES

EVOLUTION

Evolution is inevitable & necessary. In my life, evolution is evident by my continuous learning, adaptability, and encouragement for others to pivot and change. I believe in growth, learning, & transformation. Let's create, learn, evolve together, and finding ease in the flow and cycle of progress.

FREEDOM

I advocate for a life where work complements our existence, not dominates it. Freedom is my foundation, valuing independence, work-life balance, and flexibility as basic needs. I believe in fair compensation, a flexible approach, and an alternative way of navigating the capitalist landscape.

PURPOSE

Purpose is my compass, driving me to make a positive impact. I believe in change, intentions, shadow work and striving for the "delulu". My commitment to purposefulness is reflected in working with those contributing to healing through health, wellness, spirituality, knowledge, and creativity.

Land Acknowledgement

Indigenous tribes and bands have been with the lands that we inhabit today throughout Oregon and the Northwest since time immemorial and continue to be a vibrant part of Oregon today.

I would like to express my respect to the First Peoples of this land, the 9 federally recognized tribes of Oregon: Burns Paiute Tribe, Confederated Tribes of Coos, Lower Umpqua & Siuslaw Indians, Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde, Confederated Tribes of Siletz Indians, Confederated Tribes of the Umatilla Indian Reservation, Confederated Tribes of the Warm Springs Reservation, Coquille Indian Tribe, Cow Creek Band of the Umpqua Tribe of Indians, and The Klamath Tribes.

I also want to acknowledge the land on which I live and occupy in Portland, OR. The Portland Metro area rests on traditional village sites of the Multnomah, Wasco, Cowlitz, Kathlamet, Clackamas, Bands of Chinook, Tualatin Kalapuya, Molalla, and many other tribes who made their homes along the Columbia River.

It is important that we recognize and honor the ongoing legal and spiritual relationship between the land, plants, animals, and people indigenous to this place we now call Oregon. The interconnectedness of the people, the land, and the natural environment cannot be overstated; the health of one is necessary for the health of all.

I recognize the pre-existing and continued sovereignty of the 9 federally recognized tribes who have ties to this place and thank them for continuing to share their traditional ecological knowledge and perspective on how we might care for one another and the land, so it can take care of us.

I commit to engaging in a respectful and successful partnership as stewards of these lands.
